    Hi all,

I'm from a German background. Is there a device that would allow you to move the angle of your dish from english to german tv and back again etc... without having to actually physically get up on a ladder and do it manually (as I've done up to now...) Thanks!

Given that you are looking for German TV which is primarily on 19.2e and English TV primarily on 28.2 you could also try a Multi-LNB setup.
A single dish will allow easy reception of both satellites and will allow you to watch something on 1 satellite whilst recording on another.
i.e watch ZDF while recording the Soaps ;)
A multi LNB setup also allows multiple receivers/rooms to be active.
i.e Quad LNBS will allow sat viewing in the bedroom and sitting room and so on which is not possible on a motorized dish, only 1 satellite can be viewed at a time.

Motorized dishes are excellent, but for the satellites you wish to receive I would personally go with an 80cm dish, 2 quad LNBs, 2 Diseqc switches, a Multi LNB mount and a twin tuner receiver.

Sounds great banie01! Would my current 80cm Silvercrest dish suffice then or would I nead to get entirely new dish? Is the gear you speak of widely available may I ask? Thanks again.

Its very easily available either online or in bricks and mortar shops.
If you already have the dish you have a few options available then too.
Something like this for the extra LNB,
There are loads of types available thats just an example(I use a Triax Multibar myself)
Easiest option would be to contact a local installer, and discuss what you want/need.
Cheapest option will be to do it yourself, but this will also be the most frustrating option as the initial setup of a multi lnb setup is a pain in the arse for a beginner ;) speaking from experience
