    Hi,

I am looking into buying a CND Shellac nails starter kit. I've been getting Shellac nails in a salon for quite some time and I feel I could do it myself if I had a genuine CND kit. Any recommend anywhere for me to buy it? Amazon is out of stock

    Hi OP...
I bought all the items separately on Amazon which included the UV lamp, the base and top coat and a colour all CND branded. I also bought the fluid that wipes away any residue and the solar oil. It cost about 120 for the whole lot!

Hi I was just wondering how your getting on doing the shellac yourself I bought the kit online as I just wanted to do my own nails but friends and family have all asked me to do there's which I have but although I've watched the educational videos from the official cnd shellac website and feel I am doing everything right the nails are still chipping and peeling I bought extra colours because others wanted them done I've spent about €400 in all but couldn't possibly charge for nails that look in bits after a couple of days I've tried looking up shellac courses but any I've found include the kit in the price of the course with it which is €500-€600 but I've already bought my kit anyone know where I could get the course using official shellac not gellish in Dublin without having to purchase the kit too? I'd really appreciate some feedback as I've spent so much money.

Go and do the training day with them, it's a basic day

CND were the ONLY official training in Shellac. They've since sold on the product to another company, but are still taking details of people for next course. This is the only official training. You do not need the kit as I've bought the kit myself from them and sent girls on training and they did not need to purchase

I purchase all mine directly from CND, as I have it in salon and obviously charge so need to make sure it's the best quality. I don't take any chances buying it online

    Hi,

Just to clarify further, CND didn't sell the product onto another company, rather the distribution changed. CND as a brand & company in its own right contract out to distribution companies in different countries to sell product on their behalf.

There is only one supplier in Ireland for CND and they are called Sweet Squared and are based in Dublin 12. You can check the CND.com website for a list of authorised suppliers in each country.

Buying online unfortunately does not guarantee you are purchasing genuine product and therefore you can't guarantee results or even what is in the bottle. Same as with any fakes, you risk allergic reactions.

If you are a qualified nail professional you will be able to purchase from the authorised supplier at far better prices than purchasing diverted products. You will also be assured of genuine product and support.

Also there is only one official source of training for CND in Ireland and that is also through Sweet Squared.

Did Creative lose their supplier status?
