It's impressive that they have that much of a sense of where the ball went after someone kicks it.

You shouldn't make fun of blind people. I hope you never have problems with your sight.

    Fair play to them.

I watched a ball game at the London Paralympics which was for people with minimal or no eyesight. To ensure evenness all participants were blindfolded. There was a bell in the ball which was the only aid that the players had as regards locating or sensing the ball.

It was five against five. They lined up opposite each other about 20 ft. apart. The one in the middle of each teams was goalkeeper and there were two defenders on each side of goalkeeper. The object was for the opposition to roll the ball as fast as they could along the ground and get past the defence. The defence had to sense the ball and dive left or right to stop it going past for a score.
I saw Canada vs. Australia in women's semi final. The saddest part was that every participant were tall slim beautiful young women. If they walked on the beach with sunglasses you would think they were models. They were fantastic in their attitude to their disability and deadly serious about the competition. I spent two days at the Paralympics. It was the greatest example I ever saw of the human spirit conquering adversity.

How is that sad? You can admire them all you want, and they don't have to look at you drooling. :pac:
