Ceramic Braces with White Wire in Ireland?

    Hi Guys,

My teeth are uneven and in some places crooked. I'm 21 now. This has bothered me since I was sixteen or so but I never went and got them done.

(Kids, if you're reading this; get your fcuking braces done while it's free and everyone else has them. Seriously.)

I finish college next year and have decided that I'm going to get this sorted as soon as I start earning the kind of wedge that'll permit me :pac:

I've noticed a lot of adults opting for ceramics as they're less visible. I'll be in a business environment and I'd kind of like them to be discreet. :(

Do dentists in Ireland offer ceramics with the white wire? It seems much less visible. But most people here seem to have the metal wire?

Can you always get full ceramic? Or do you sometimes have no choice to go with metal?

All in all, I'm willing to kiss goodbye to €5,000 to fix my chompers.

I have ceramics with the white wire; I posted a very cheesy photo in the Adult Braces Experience thread a few weeks ago (should be on the last page or two) if you want to see them.

The white is just a coating which is beginning to come off in some small places, but I'm getting the bottom braces on next week so they'll probably replace the top wire then. They told me they could replace it at any time if the white was flaking off enough to bother me. It's definitely worth inquiring about when you go for your first consult.

OP ceramic brackets and white wires are pretty commonplace most orthodontist will provide them.
