how to change DPI of photo?

    Hi, does anyone know how to change the DPI of a photo.Santa is bringing a photo book and I have pics but it says wrong DPI , what I have is too high.Any advice,Thanks,cathy

    DPI, or pixels per inch lets you figure out how many pixels you squeeze into an image when printing. Typically 300 DPI is sufficient for high quality prints.

    Most picture editing software will let you do this. What software do you have access to? Just google for that specific software.

    Alternatively I would have a look at Irfanview as a nice free program for basic editing. Here is how to change DPI with it:
