xbox 360 in Argos

Purchased Xbox 360 -250gb with FIFA 14 in Argos for €209.99, along with another special offer which allowed me to get an extra wireless controller for €30.99. I then used the €10 voucher to purchase the Minecraft game for €7.99.`Everything for under €250, which I thought was good value.

ie the day when children's allowance is paid out????

It will end at close of business on Tuesday, 6pm for most stores. The new offer then starts on Wednesday if there is a new one coming. At least that is the norm for Argos.

There will be similar offers next week with Coll of Duty Ghost but you wont get the €10 voucher.

Picked a 250gb console for a family member in Currys Galway for 159.99 there clearing them out.
Not sure It just applies to the Galway shop or nationwide

Did they have any left after you got yours? I remember Xtravision was clearing out consoles not long ago. Got a 500GB PS3 with 2 controllers for 200

ordered it online last night even tho it showed up as membership not in stock till Wed..get to till give reservation number..that will be €228 thanks..I said no I have an email stating price..10 mins later it's sorted and they had 1 membership left in store..Happy out thanks for all the help guys

They had two after I picked mine up.they don't have them out on display so you could be still in luck,they didn't know they had it until I asked as they more or less stopped selling games awhile back

Dont use this reservation as it stands. Instead select the 360 with the two games, then select the 'Special Offer 01' and add either Battlefield 4 or FIFA 14, all for the same cost of €220. Very odd by Argos, but do not miss out on the extra game!

No, well done, that's a good deal. I was only warning anyone who might be inclined to take on your Argos reservation. The 360 + the 2 games for 220e is not great. The same deal with fifa14/ battlefield included is the better Argos option.

Thanks- just reserved the Halo 4/Tomb Raider one with Battlefield 4. Have been looking around the last couple of weeks & it seems to be a decent deal. Game did have the same console with GTA 5 for 199stg but gone from their site...same with Gamestop although can't remember price.

Only extra note I would have is that the new Xbox 360 console is the E version which appears to have lost a couple of things off of the S...
