I've fallen in love with this yellow bandage dress but don't know if I can pull it off! I'm 5'7' and a half, a size 12, my natural colouring is sallow-ish but I'd be wearing fake tan if I got the dress and my natural hair colour is chocolate-y brown and shoulder length. (Am thinking of dying it a plum-y red though?) So do you think I could wear this dress?

    It's from dresses4heaven.com if anyone's wondering!

I would say the girl in the pic is darker than me so that's why I'm not sure!

I've seen this dress before and I LOVE it!! , wanted to get it but think my boobs would be too big and wouldn't feel comfortable enough to go bra-less :/
Definitely go for it ! ;)

It's the kind of dress that you cannot hide anything in. If you're very body confident, I'd say go for it. Otherwise, I think you'd spend any time wearing it worrying about lumps and bumps and being uncomfortable can ruin even the nicest of outfits.

Personally I think it would look better with brown hair than plum because it is already vibrant in colour but that's just my taste and to each their own. :)

I think it is a dress that has been done many times! The style is getting kind of dated now IMO. also I think it is very low o the front?

Thanks for your thoughts, I'm more confused than ever now, haha :o:D

I just love the colour, it does come in black, navy or red too.. also I'm a 12 but I'm very toned, just have wide hips and boobs. Maybe it'd be too much for such a tight dress..

Gorgeous dress, I'd buy it myself but I'm the palest person I know.

Your colouring and body shape sounds exactly right for pulling this off, I'd go for it!

Agree with the poster above who said it would suit brown hair more though.

Yeah your body shape would def go with this! Sounds perfect to be honest
and maybe get it in a darker colour, it'll be more wearable?

In a word no: Legs, boobs, and back out all together is a big fashion no no in my book. Leave something to the imagination

    Completely agree with this.

I never really liked this style of dress, all I see is clingy material. Even on a girl with the best figure, it just seems a bit "meh". The colour is lovely with the model's hair colour and skin tone though.
