Hi guys.

Living in rented accomodation, the wooden floor needs sanding and few coats of varnish. Landlord suggested if myself or flatmate did the job he'd knock off some rent for the month.

Just wondering how much would be reasonable to ask for off i.e. how much would it cost a handyman to do? The area is roughly 25/30 sq metres but with lots of nooks and crannys. It would involve us leaving the house for a weekend due to the layout of the house. Given the condition it will probably involve sanding it on a Friday evening and applying one coat of varnish that night. Then another on the Saturday morning and another on Sunday morning.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Just to add, he'd be supplying equipment and supplies etc.
