Has the water rationing killed my shower?

Hey there. Have an electric Shower here in the house thats usually perfectly fine. I have no idea if its source is the tank or the mains (rented property) but since the water rationing at night its been dodgey (during the day, when we are supposed to have water) Ran it two evenings ago and it was ok, spluttered a bit at the start but then kicked in and was fine.
But for the last 2 days theres not a drop of water out of it. Motor is spinning up but nothing coming out. All other sinks in the house have tank water and mains during the active hours.
    Any ideas?

I would say you have airlocked it, it's always a bad idea to use appliances like this when the water is off unless you are certain it is installed properly and there is water in the storage tank.

    Disconnect shower here

Happened our shower here a few weeks ago, the rubber lining in the hose had blocked off the supply coming out.

    tried disconnecting it, no joy.

Just double checked. It seems that my mains water is working fine in the bathroom but I have ONLY tank/hot water in the kitchen.

took the casing off the T90RX and bled it to release any airlocks. Nothing happened. Bone dry in there, so guessing its a water supply issue from the tank?
