Is this possible with any of the mobile networks in Ireland?

Yep. It's possible with meteor. Myself and my daughter are on the one bill with 2 different phone numbers.

I can also confirm that this is possible with meteor. Be warned though, that when I tried to change the name on one of the numbers later, so that the gf could sign a contract in her name and get a new phone, Meteor said this could not be done for some reason as they could not "unmarry" the two numbers.

You can still probably get out of this by porting to a different network, but there is the extra hassle involved.

Possible with every network except three I think.

As above said there is some hassle involved to untie that number if needed.
