Have one here never gave any major trouble.Clutch done this year, and clutch and brake slave cylinders only other parts replaced after 12000 hours.
she's getting very smokie at the moment we,ll have a peep at that over the winter.

i think the electric lifts are more troublesome than the manual, good tractor with lots of power tho

i have an f140 manual. went for a manual on purpose as electric can be troublesome. theres fierce poke out of mine. mechanic reckons she could be up around 160hp. I put a new hydraulic dromone pick up hitch a few years ago. theres 6k up on it and it needed a cloutch and a gearbox rebuilt at the 5k hours. it is a good bit heavy on diesel in comparison to my 110-90. a nice tractor though.

Just try and ignore all the warning lights on the dash, neighbours have 2 of them with high hours, good reliable machine, pick up hitches get worn, and as said above with high hours they'd probably need a set of rings.

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Rings. Imho, any high hp machine with big hours will need some work of that nature. So any machine might need that work .

What ever you do, try to ensure it is the later Mark II version.

Easiest way to know is the gearbox if it is mark 2 it may have a switch whereas mark I you need to shake the gearstick.
