    like most "stock" sites out there - they talk a good game but usually farm out your images to no-one.

    in my opinion (and I may be totally wrong) …most stock sites assume copyright of your images so if you close your account they can continue to sell off the images and they then don't have contact details for you to pass payment onward.

    I'm not a fan of stock sites as most of them don't have the right networks to distribute - with the exception of the really big names (who sell your images as packages for pennies)….most stock sites have some companies set up to buy images but it rarely amounts to the photographers making big money.

    (Remember I don't think stock sites work for the photographer) …for me this roughly translates into - we're the largest database for images which were put onto the internet and maybe the owners don't know we have their images, we sell your work for pennies, we provide a platform for you to sell through our website so we can charge commission, we're connected to Facebook and other social media sites, we use the images on 500px, flickr, instagram etc (doesn't mention if the owners know their images are being used).

    … they essentially say we are a big photography database, we sell your work cheaply and we link into social media and other photography databases to find images.
