New wide angle lens launching for Pentax...

It seems that Pentax are finally getting ready to launch the wide angle zoom lens for the Q system.

It's a 17.5-27mm equivalent on the Q7, but unfortunately for me, it's only 20mm at the wider end on my original Q body... Will it be wide enough for use in architectural interiors? This is my most important use of the camera.

Thanks, from a very amateur photographer.

    Bump.

I'm really interested to see what peoples opinions are on this. Is a focal length of 21mm okay for interior shots, or would a wider lens be necessary?

I see allot of estate agents recommending 16mm, but I'm more interested in getting good shots with a good view of the space and features than actually showing the volume of the space.

I'm involved in producing retail and restaurant interiors & want to be able to document them & their shopfronts. Thanks.

Don't want to be rude but there may be many reasons for no one posting a reply. Maybe no one have any experience with your set up so why post BS?
And I think the answer is in your link as all the angles of each lens are there?only you can decide if it will be suitable for your work.
