What idiot has caused this? Seriously?

The top sites feature in 6.1 now looks like something from the 1970s. Flat, low-res preview, with the glorious 3D curve - sadly - gone.

How in God's name is this type of rubbish allowed happen by a company like Apple?

I've had Top Sites disabled since it was introduced. Too slow and clunky. Just re-enabled it in v7, though, and it doesn't seem that bad. Did it always show Reading List in the sidebar? Because that's an improvement which might make me use it. At least until Apple make the sidebar work properly (possibly never).

I like Safari but the UI is terribly outdated. The title/toolbar area is ridiculous. I mean, hello Apple, you are selling 11-inch MacBooks, maybe you should make things like the bookmarks bar and the status bar auto-hide. It's even worse in Mavericks because Apple stuck even more crap onto the address bar.

    Hmm.

Only updated today and it's saying 6.1?

I use Safari all the time and loved the appearance of Top Sites. It's absolutely appalling now.

7.0 is Mavericks only, I think.
