Just wondering can a persons teeth be too bad for braces?? I've a fear of dentists for years due to a bad experience and i havn't been since. I'd need a few fillings in my back teeth 1 or 2 teeth pulled and prob a root canal on my front tooth. I'm just wondering would I be able to get braces??how much all treatment be? (Estimation) I haven't a clue about dental stuff any knowledge will be helpful

    Thank you :)

Braces are done in a healthy mouth. You need to get the teeth in a healthy state first. Fillings, cleaning, hygiene advice, extractions, root canals etc...first. Once your teeth are all healthy and your cleaning is good you can look into the braces, Generally nobody it too bad for braces.

I've a few quite big fillings on my lower molars and there was no trouble getting them on. You'll probably need to get any work done before hand though, and maintain regular checkups while you have them.
I know someone who needed quite a lot of work done beforehand. All in all, it's costing her around €8000 , including gum surgery, extractions, braces and either an implant or bridge (I'm not sure which).
Every case is going to differ, best thing to do is go for a checkup with a dentist and a consultation with an ortho.
