I think Abtran are a call centre that companies outsource their customer service sections to.

If you are looking for general info - research what it is like to work in a customer service call centre environment.

You hear a lot of negative stuff about Abtran but I can't imagine they're much better or worse than any other call center. The pay is bad but that's the nature of this kind of work. There are decent enough opportunities for promotion so you could look at it as a possibility to progress and get some management experience on your cv. Not that you'll get paid much more!

I understand that Aviva is one of the better accounts to work on out there and they will help you get a QFA qualification.
