Ford garage Labour cost

Was having an issue with a leak around the back windscreen of my Mondeo. I kept an eye on it for a couple of weeks and wasn't an isolated incident so booked it into my local Ford garage.

When I dropped it in I explained the issue as best I could and they even rang me early the morning I had dropped it in so I could talk to the guy who was looking at. He explained that he had looked at the rubber sealing, sealing round the window etc and couldn't see anything (which I had told them when I dropped it in) and he said it was probably the rear washer fitting.

I got a call from them later to say that they needed to order the fitting so the car would not be ready for another day, i asked how much the part was and he said €6 odd.

Got a call yesterday evening to say it was ready and the cost was €192!!!! The part was actually €5.28 and the rest was 3 1/2 hours labour.

I have to go pick it up after work today and was wondering if I can dispute the price with them? I don't believe it took them 3 1/2 hours to work out what the problem was and fix a new rear washer.

3.5 hours labour at our (independent garage) labour rate plus a €5.28 part would have cost you €204 so I reckon they aren't charging you for all of the time spent on the car.

Do you think that it would reasonably take 3.5 hours to investigate the issue considering there are a very limited number of things it could be and then to replace a rear windscreen washer? Bearing in mind they areFord mechanics so are well use to the job.
