(Yes, this has been approved by the mods :))

    Howdy,

I'm putting together a couple of mosfets for some of my guns (based on this guide and this guide) and I was having some issues with sourcing all the parts from one place.
I eventually found these folks site via an electronics forum and they have everything including some ptc's (resetable fuse) and do the silicone wire in 1m lengths and prices are decent (cheaper than Mouser/Farnell). Having found all the parts in one location, I'm offering to organise a group buy.

I'm offering the mosfet, tvs diode, ptc fuses, resistors, heatshrink, ring terminal and wire as a "kit" for self assembly at the cost price as per the links below and then add a euro for shipping. That will cover the cost of me sending out each one in an anti- static bag in a standard envelope. I can put max two kits in a standard envelope so if you want more than two, shipping will be €1.50 as large envelope rates will apply.

The cost per kit will be approx €9-€10 depending on numbers. Once there are 10 kits being purchased there is a price break on the mosfets and wire so that will reduce it down by almost €1. I will leave the buy open for a week (until 7th Nov) to allow people to express an interest. Once the final numbers are known, I will calculate the actual price per kit and request payment from those interested.

Payment will be accepted via Paypal (preferred, you pay the fees) or postal order.
Payment will be due within a week (7th-14th Nov)and I will then place the order on 15th Nov. No payment received, no kit.
If you wish to buy the kit please simply state your name and number of kits required.

    ShRT 5 Kits

These are the links to each part. Please note prices are ex-vat.
    TVS diode
    Mosfet
PTC fuse (2 needed in parallel)
2.2k and 100 resistors (these are cents so i'll chuck them in for nowt)
    1m Red 14awg silicone wire
    1m Black 14awg silicone wire
22AWG yellow wire. (Depending on numbers taking it up i'll get the 100m roll or just go to maplin and get 10m rolls)
    Ring Terminal
Heatshrink i'll be taking from a stock I have already.

Please note, you will need to supply your own M3 nut and bolt to attach the ring terminal to the mosfet. Obviously you will be assembling this yourself so if you are not confident in doing so it may not be the ideal purchase for you. This is also a non-active breaking mosfet.
This is a good video to look at to see what is involved although he leaves out the TVS diode.

Sad, that I read this just now, I already ordered parts for myself and my friends.
You could include motor connectors as well. They are needed as part of the kit as well as Deans- Then it is full kit.
