    Hi lads,

Had this installed last week. PQ seems ok no issues yet. The "engineer" said the reason why the signal strength is low on input 1 is because the signal is now being shared. Does this look correct or is he talking through his hat? I'm using sky on a communal system

Shared is probably the wrong description. A stacker works by up converting to a higher frequency and the higher the frequency the greater the loss through coax cable and connections. The quality reading should be pretty much the same though.

Ya so the quality reading on the attachment on both is very good but I was wondering about the very low signal strength off one of the inputs. do you think its normal enough?

    Thanks

Really there is no normal as there are many factors that can affect this but its nothing to worry about as long as the quality is fine and you get no picture breakup in heavy rain.
