Picking the best name for your site

    Hi guys,

New to the site so not sure if I'm in the right place, but I could use some help.

I'm looking to start a website which will be a kind of jack of all trades site covering gaming, movie and tv news, reviews, previews and features.

If it were just one of these, the name would be easy, but because it encompasses all of these things, I am having serious trouble coming up with a name.

What I'm looking for is some suggestions and advice on how to pick the right name?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Media Muchness... hehe ..

something catchy and that gets across what your site is...perhaps you should try asking some of the people who would be attracted to such a site? ...

try a few names, try googling them to see if they're used or common or what.. maybe have a vote on chosen name?

Maybe ask some people on Facebook? ..

This forum doesn't really get alot of viewers, ie, wont get many replies.

careful, read the charters on each forum, to know whats accepted to post there or not. (each one here has rules specific to the topic )

Do you want to be associated with the site as a personality? If so, maybe try working your last name in somehow.

Is it going to be serious news or light-hearted/humorous?

Thanks for the heads up, I would probably end up breaking the rules because of not knowing that!

Mostly serious, but with the occasional light hearted humerous moment, my style of writing reviews that I do currently are usually peppered with sarcasm and some bad jokes, but not too much to distract from telling the story and getting the big points across, if that makes sense?

The last name idea is interesting, I hadn't even considered it so thanks a million for the suggestion!
