Is there an online archive of old death notices or obituaries from the 1950's/60's?

    Thanks

probably depends a little on the area involved. The two major online newspaper collections which include Birth, Marriage and death notices are on the Irish Times Archive, and the IrishNewsArchive - both subscription sites.

Access to both of these is free in certain libraries.

Also check any appropriate regional papers that the INA has - but don't check them exclusively at the expense of the nationals. Remember the Press and the Dublin Evening Mail were still in existence then also.
