    I was going to post this in another thread but I don't want to take it off topic. I found a good link resource for showing sales figures and advice from other indie devs on what they did right/wrong and how best to publish and market your game.

    It's an invaluable resource for those looking to publish their games. Steam + independant sales seems to be the way to go.
