We did it in the past but it became all staged with scripts etc ...

9:45 sarah will scream as she was attacked by the mysterious ghost man.

Needless to say we got out of it. Its got to the stage now were phone shows are fake. Thats what ratings chasers do :(

its the same crap every year. I got two different people from the same national radio station emailing me at the same time about the same show. I gave them both the same answer (in the negative).

as i have said on numerous, numerous occasions - what else do you expect from a telly show?

Whats the opinion on Rescue Mediums, currently back on Sky TV?

    1) The "Mediums" do some sort or preliminary summary of what they anticipate they will find.

    2) They are left in a random, previously "undisclosed location", house and it's occupants.

    3) The residents give a summary of their experiences.

    4) Mediums Investigate.

    5) The inevitable "freeing/crossing over" of trapped spirits.

    6) The "Reveal", including historical data to tie in with Mediums experiences.

All of that can be staged, and pre-arranged. But are the residents of the houses in on it as well?

Very often the residents have seen and experienced paranormal activities that tie in closely with the results in the "Reveal" (both the Mediums experiences and the historical data).

It's pretty good acting on the part of the "residents", including very often their children.

Has there been any debunking/exposure on this programme?

EDIT: Answering my own questions here. The programme researchers speak with residents to gather accounts of their experiences, physical details of the house and do a bit of historical digging into persons attached to the house or area, and relay this well in advance to the "Rescue Mediums"...

I've never watched it. I like Ciaran O'Keefe's Ghostlands project (though thats a 'labour of love' he says, and is on youtube rather than TV)

    I'll check that Ghostlands out.

"Rescue Mediums" is currently, (well it was last week), on CBS Reality Channels 135 and 136 at around 9:00-9:30 am weekdays.
