I got 4 of these tyres for 85 euro a piece. From reading reviews they appear to be muck. I was told from the guy selling them that he would put on mid-range tyres. But from what I can view these are lowest of the low end.

Anybody have any experience of Sagitar tyres?

At that price I'd be amazed if they were anything better than horrible.
Looking at reviews on the web confirms that in the wet they are about as bad as you'll get.
    No experience though. (thankfully!)

85 euro for those is daylight robbery.
I see them for 40-60 euro online.
    Where did you buy them?

Uniroyal Rainexpert are also 85 and great tyres.

Are they Sagitar P307 or Sagitar P607?

OMG, just look at how bad their website is.

    http://sagitartyre.com/tools.asp

It was built by a 3 year old!

Also, EireTyres.com dont even list that brand. They must be extremely bad, gone out of business, or are not legal in EU!!!!

Did you ask what his low-end tyres are?

Where you getting Uniroyals for 85? Eiretyres has them in that size for 130 euros. Honest question as I'll be needing tyres soon, they're almost down to the wear marker.

I too would be interested in this. Cheapest quote I got for Uniroyals was 120.

My mistake, I was looking at the wrong size.

Did that include fitting? Oponeo have them here for €112 delivered:

BTW €85 each for those Sagitar things is shocking. They are not mid-range, they are at the bottom end of budget.

Yeah it was from I think Discount Tyres in Blanchardstown? They were mentioned in another thread about tires a couple of days ago.

That's a very good price including fitting and balancing. I'm all for spending my money locally when the price is competitive.

Thats for 205/45 R16 if its makes much of a difference.

Might be a more common size than the OP's 225/55/R16 alright.

I've 235/45/18 which are awkward enough to source locally at a reasonable price.
