    Do Catholics still believe in a devil or has he been written out of the story? Like do priests still talk about Satan and the antichrist in mass or elsewhere? Just curious, grew up in a non religious family.

    Used to frighten the life out of us as children with talk of the devil if you weren't a good Catholic back in the day.
    Though in fairness a lot of education was laced with the threat of violence in those days.
