    Hi fellow boardsies,

Wanted to get some feedback on an issue. I recently left a job after almost 2 years to take a new job closer to home. Unfortunately after 2 months I was called in and unfairly let go from the new job. The role ended as the company felt I was not getting results quickly enough despite the complexities of the work involved. They are willing to provide a reference if needed and say whatever I want them to say.

I have a dilemma on whether or not to include this on my CV or not. I think its a blot on my CV and will lead to other questions and complications. I also believe having a 2 month position would be frowned upon by any perspective employer.

Some of the recruiters I have spoken to said I should include it and others have said to leave it off my CV. I'm not sure which is the best course of action as in a new role I would have to hand over a P45 from the company which has let me go.

Do any of you have any experience in this situation??

Tell the truth, even little lies can catch you out.

You can be clever with the truth and tell them you decided to leave as the company didn't provide you with a good feeling of somewhere you could grow and develop and better to leave now than waste a number of years?
