    Start in 1st, no problem
Change to second and accelerate and the car jerks. almost looses power but recovers.
    3rd, 4th and 5th are fine

    2000 Vectra

    Know what the issue is?

Sounds sort of like a misfire. Any orange light on the dash while this is going on?

Might be the clutch starting to slip - have you tried accelerating hard in first?

Are you sure it's just second? Has it just done it once and cleared before the next gear?
Seems weird that it'd be gear related, if it was clutch slip she'd be revving and I think you'd have mentioned that.

Yes just second, when I change into second and press the accelerator it jerks for like 2 seconds.. then fine after that.

In the early stages of clutch slip it would jerk as the clutch let go and bit again, but it's impossible to say without being there.
