Amazing samsung s4 repair

    My s4 started freezing and restarting and would sometimes not turn back on for hours at a time, I sent it away to be fixed under warranty by samsung and though annoyed to be without my phone for a week I was happy enough to get it back today. The first surprise when I pulled the phone out was that it was black, I sent away a white phone and received the same white phone back but now with the front of a black S4, obviously quality control dropped the ball on this but at least I had my phone back, you see where this is going right? the original problem was still there ffs, all they done was made it an ebony and ivory phone.

    They now want me to send the phone of for another repair! Surely they could let me swap it for a reconditioned one at a shop???

    TBH it sounds like the may have sent you another refurbished model, have you checked to see if the IMEI is the same as before?

    Same phone, same IMEI, same problems i.e turning off/freezing not turning on etc. only difference is now it's got a black front and a white back.

    Reconditioned. :confused::confused:

    I'd be wanting a brand new phone now mate.
    They made the balls up, not you. I'd be wanting a new one if it was me anyway, considering you've already sent it off for a repair and it came back not only still broken, but also a different colour.

    Demand a new phone and see how you get on.

    Would be nice but I would be happy with a working uni-colour phone.

    Yeah personally if it was me, that's the road is go down.

    Pretty sure your covered under consumer rights, goods being fit for purpose etc

    I'd give it a go, definitely. Your contract is with three, not Samsung.

    So, the service centre phoned me and said it's just one of those things, human error, they told me the phone would have to be booked back in, I told them that was unacceptable and the guy agreed and told me to phone samsung again and see if they could help me out but they fobbed me off and said the only thing they could do was to send out a Jiffy bag to send it away again.

    Bad form samsung, I've always bought samsung gear but I'll defiantly go apple next time due to their far better customer services.
