I've been ill for the last 2 months, if i stand or sit up i feel terrible, is there anyway in the college officially or unofficially suitable for laying down between classes. I don't mind the floor just need to be on my back, i've taken to laying outside but with the weather i don't know if it's doable.

The disability service have respite rooms, but its only for people signed up with the service. I'd contact them and explain your situation, ask if a doctors cert would allow you to avail of the service for the duration of your illness. I'm not sure what the protocol is in these situations, but its worth trying to find out

I don't know where your lectures are or how taxing it is for you to walk short distances, but how about the Phil and Hist rooms in the GMB? There's usually plenty of free sofa space.

A place which is normally deserted is the top floor of the Hamilton (above the entrance to the Hamilton library). It's just carpet but it can be quiet.

I've seen people lying on the Arts Block couches, the purple ones in the centre of the BLU and the ones in the Ussher basement but obviously these are no good at peak times as they'll probably be full. All would be possible early in the morning or late at night though. (Ussher basement would be quietest of those three).

They're not the most comfortable, but the upper floors of the Arts Block are full of those weird square blocks that people sit on, so you could try lying on those too (the higher up you go the quieter it is).
