Probably the cheapest and handiest place to park is CastleCourt Shopping centre in the middle of the city, I think it is cheaper than the Victoria Centre and they do good all day deals. Currently they have an offer Monday to Friday is £4.50 all day.

There is a good selection of shops there and on the street. Then wander over to the Victoria Square Centre - more high end of the market shops, but take a trip in the lift to the top of the glass rook to get a panoramic view of the city.

If you have time on your way home (if taking the M1), then the shops in Sprucefield (about 15 minutes drive from Belfast on main Belfast to Dublin road) has a big Sainsburies, Next homeware, Toys R'Us and other big stores.

Hope that this helps. But remember if you go up on a Sunday, the shops including supermarkets only open from 1pm to 6pm and some high street shops close at 5pm.

There's a free bus from Central Station to the city centre. Also, if you're up early on the weekend, check out St. George's Market - lots of food and drink and markety stuff....

Market's about 2 mins walk from the station, and there's another free bus from the market into Donegal Square:D

Though it's only across the road and up a block until you get to the back entrance of Victoria Square - Belfast is really rather compact....

The Abbey Centre is a pretty good out of town shopping centre not far from Belfast

Free parking and most of the big name stores. Currys, P.C. World, B & Q, Homebase, TK Max, Next, BHS, Dunnes, M & S, Boots etc.

Not sure where the nearest train station is though, but it's easy to reach by bus.

I rarely go into Belfast City Centre these days.

Well there's Ronnie Drew's beside George's Market which is a couple of mins away... not a favourite of mine, but not bad...
