Windows Server 2012 Essentials pair with which Office 365 plan

A quick question what is the correct Office 365 plan to buy that will work with the management features of Windows Server 2012 Essentials?

No mention of which plan if all works with this integration

Looking through the Office 365 plans some have Active Directory integration other have not, do you have to select a plan that supports Active directory integration?

I have put it in with Office 365 Small Business Premium with no problems in the past. Hooked into the inbuilt management console well and allowed for users to be automatically created in office 365 when they are created locally along with password sync.

Even though Small Business Premium does not have Active Directory integration selected?

Yep works fine. SBS Essentials is a strange one that way. Gives a bit more functionality in some ways but restricts the number of users to 25.
