Rav4 breaking/parts - What's this part called?

    Hi all,

Parked the car today and went off to a photo store. Came back and someone's green car became intimate with my Rav4. Left a nice green streak and broke the plastic surrounds of the red reflectors on the rear at the sides.

The car edges aren't in amazing shape anyway, and it's not major damage by any stretch, but I try to keep it in as best shape as I can, and it's bugging the life out of me and I know it'll wreck my head.

So I figure if i find a breaker's yard has that piece, I reckon i wont pay too much for it (as the rear bumper is separated into three different pieces on the Rav4).

Thing is, I don't know if theres an actual name for that piece. Would I just be asking for a 'left piece of the rear bumper" (assuming people working in breakers yards probably wont be too knowledgeable specifically on the Rav4).

Do the left and right pieces have actual names on cars where the bumper is split up?

Apologies if this is a really silly question :(

    Cheers :)

send that pic to trimtech for a quote, I would guess it could be good as new for less than €300

I'd say just rear bumper, passenger side section. Nearside section if you want to get technical. A scrapper will no what you mean if he has one.

I'm sure I could get the same piece off another Rav4 for less in a breaker's yard.

Scrap yard may try to sell you the entire bumper as opposed to one corner of it.
