    Hi All,

After buying a 2005 BMW 320cd. Looking to get a full service done on the car. I'm based in Tralee and drive to work everyday.

Just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of BMW specialists locally where I could get quotes for the work?

Thanks in advance for any posts! :)

Collins Bavarian AutoTechnik in Abbeyfeale are good lads to deal with too.
http://www.bavarianautotechnik.com/ I've been to them a few times in the past and can only say good things for them.

Are there any specialists towards Killarney or South Kerry ?

In fairness, most reputable mechanics can do even a "full" service on a BMW (look in the service book to see what it entails) and probably won't charge you half as much. And stamp the service book.

Ger Collins in abbeyfeale is meant to be a1. He does work on my fils 911 and I'm booking my e60 into him for a few jobs this week. I can report back if you want..

Aherns in Castleisland are probably your handiest bet if youre in Tralee

As BMW main dealers go, Aherns have a good reputation but probably no added value other than convenience to pay main dealer prices on a nearly 9 year old car.

Get quotes from the people I linked, it'll give you an estimate. And make sure you know what items needs servicing at your mileage.

If going to a main dealer be prepared to spend plenty of €uros.

A decent indy with proper equipment should have no trouble servicing your car, and for a good bit cheaper than main dealer prices too I suspect.

Thanks for all the feedback. Looks like I'll be going with JM Automotive. They are the most reasonable by far.
