    I've a kilo of the above, it'll go out of date at the end of November. Anyone who wants it can have it....really don't like to see stuff going to waste. Dun Laoghaire area.

    I wouldn't get too hung up on the best-before dates of specialty malts. I've used bags that were a year and more past date and the beer turned out fine.

    Not only have I used spec malts past their best before date, the beer also came top of the Christmas beer category in the NHC homebrew comp last March!
