How long can you put x on casual working dockets

    hello just finished my casual part time job 2 weeks ago, and im just wondering how long can you go sending in the dockets saying you havent being working at all? im hopefully going to get part time work again in the next few weeks but is there a limit on how long you can send the dockets in with All Xs on them?

    A friend of mine received casual dockets while he was working part-time about a year ago. He continued to send them in even after he had finished work completely (showing clearly he was not working any days each week) and it took the SW two months or so to get around to taking him off the dockets and put him back on full jobseekers allowance.

    Call in and let them know your current job has ended.

    yeah i have done but they said they need my P45 and its takeing ages for it to come in the post its nearly 3 weeks now,

    I would be getting on to them explaining that you haven't received it and need it urgently for social welfare purposes.

    If still no satisfaction then call into your tax office and ask them to request it from your employer.
