Ariva 120 Lock light stays on

Hi,
Our Ferguson Ariva 120 has suddenly started giving us issues with the remote control. The light next to the word 'Lock' on the OSD is always on. I've went in to the settings and checked that both the parental lock settings are set to off. The remote control light works when I press it, yet the channel doesn't change. It only changes when I go really close (touch it off the receiver) and press the button multiple times. I've changed the batteries to brand new Duracell ones and the issue still persists. Any ideas? Thanks.

Have you tried powering down the box using the switch on the back ?

I had a problem similar to this. The infra-red was not working in the STB anymore. Remote was working fine, checked it on another 120. Could change the stations by pressing the buttons on the box but the remote would not change them at all. In the end I had to have the box replaced. Was still under gurantee at the time mind.

Cheers guys, I've tried the power reset. I'll try using the remote on another box.

I'm having the same problem the light is staying on lock. Did you manage to get it sorted?

Sorry, never got it sorted in the end.

Try reflashing the firmware via a USB stick. You can do this without a remote using the keys on the box.
