The use of petrochemical fuels is not recommended - what are they?

    Looking at stoves and the ads often say
    "the use of petrochemical fuels is not recommended"

    What is a petrochemical fuel?

    Is stuff like "stoveheat" and "supertherm" in this category?
    Or is it just something not generally available anyway?

    Firelogs have petrochemical fuel in them.
