Not a bad deal I reckon - I have an Xtreamer media player and Network drive / media server for the last few years and they are running away without a hitch.

It's a budget phone - but I think the price is good.

Details and specs here : Clicky

The 99 + 20 shipping deal is here : Clicky

    Hope this helps someone !

I never said it was brilliant, but bang for buck this is pretty good for a new phone with a warranty, that's sim-free and rooted.
    Or is there better ?

I'd go to expansys.ie and get a top of the line sim free phone for a decent price.

Samsung Galaxy SIII mini sim free is around €200 thats decent compared to what you would pay in the shops for it.

Even better priced than them dodgey chinese robbed phone shops you see in the north inner city.

I spent 150 including delivery on a quad core Turbo phone with HD screen, anyone who buys that rip off phone deserves a slap.

I don't think it's as much of a rip off as people make it out to be. Yes the Y300 would be a much better buy, but some people would probably appreciate the extra screen size of the Xtreamer. Looking at youtube, the performance seems to be pretty OK for a single core, loads of people out there who wouldn't use the phone for much apart from texts, calls, bit of rte player or netflix etc.

Wouldn't buy it myself, but I don't think it's criminal either.

Wouldn't be the greatest phone, spec wise so I think I'll pass. Thanks though.

My Lenovo A830 is 5 inch better resolution and a quad core it only cost 180 with delivery.

Xtreamer customer service and hardware is absolutely awful. Avoid at all costs.

I have an Xtreamer sidewinder and an eTrayz. I've had them for about 3 years now and they have worked flawlessly since I've had them.
The sidewinder plays everything I throw at it.
One of the guys I work with has an Xtreamer Sidewinder II and loves it also.
So personally I've had no issues with their stuff.
