I'm looking for a sheet at least 10 foot x 5 foot to make a projector screen - fairly thin too, between 4 & 8 mm - can this be bought anywhere?

You can get sheets of the corrugated plastic in 10 x 8 (I think). Far better job.

correx / coroplast ? might make the pic a bit lifeless though ?

    screen material instead ?

    Give it tidier-looking edges :

Its called Corriboard. You can get it laminated as well which would make the PIC a bit more vibrant

I actually had a frame in mind like the one in the link - except I was going to mount it to the MDF with the screen material already attached to the MDF, thought it would prevent sagging/ripples - I wonder if stretching the screen material across Corriboard and the attaching it to a frame would make it sturdier?

Edit: re-read above replies. A silky material would work good I think.

How about a square frame with material pulled taught over it. Cheap and perfectly flat.

I would just be nervous that over time it would sag and ripple because of the lack of support around the middle.

No hope of the corriboard holding anything tight. It just about holds itself.

Apologies, I thought Screen material was way more pricy than that.

Doubt it would sag tbh. You can buy sheets of 10x5 MDF if needs be. Noyeks or anywhere like that would do them.

My projector just shines on the chimney brest and works great. Can you not just paint a wall? Think there are special wall paints you can get for projectors screens aswell.

Cant mate...that would have been my first preference. It's going into a wooden cabin, so it's not an option at all.
