HP Laptop BIOS repair

    Hello everyone,

Today I tried to upgrade / update my BIOS on my HP ProBook 4320s but eventually it got corrupted. Now when I try to turn it on:

Screen is black, caps lock is blinking at ~1 blink per sec, tried to reinstall BIOS using external flash (HEWLETT-PACKARD/BIOS/CURRENT) by issuing different key combos: Win + B, all arrows pressed, etc - no luck.

HP support told me that it could be possible that M/B needs to be replaced. But I think all is required - to flash my BIOS again, question is: where I can do it? Is there any service centres in or around Dublin who could do this?

    Thanks!
P.S. My first post on this forum, and sry for poor english.

Its very likely FUBAR'd. Old boards had removable bios chips, but theyre a thing of the past now for the most part. If youve fragged your current one the only way to repair it would be to desolder from the mobo, flash it manually with specialist kit then resolder it. Thatd cost more than the new mobo.

Yeap, just ordered a "new" mobo (used). Will need to keep myself from flashing that as well.. :)
