    Hello,

I attempted a rescan (I think) but now although RTE 1 & 2 and the other Irish channels are still working , there is no label beside them on the channel list. I used the Terrestrial Automatic Scan option but not sure if that's what I was supposed to do.

Oh , and I'm still getting the rescan warning notification message when I press the info button on these channels.

    Help! :)

I think if you press ok to display the channels and then press the red button arrange via lcn should fix your problem

Take a look at the end of your channel list.

You will find up to 26 terrestrial tv channels approximately on a full auto rescan. Go to the end of your channel list. Delete any channels with the "rescan required" message in the EPG. Delete any duplicates. Done.

Its a bit of a joke in fairness, considering the abundant advice prior to DSO to only get a "saorview approved" unit. One could have been forgiven for thinking that such a box would have behaved similar to a "freesat" unit following transmission changes.

I don't see how this is relevant here: none of the Ariva receivers are Saorview approved.

Indeed was thinking that myself, I'm sure some people may be wondering what exactly they got for the extra outlay . Guess that's a topic for another thread
