Nowhere, because it's just a video some randomer made and attributed to "anonymous".

Pffft.. Spread a message to 1 million worldwide in 24 hours?

The US eavesdrop on twice that per day day in one Country alone.

Sounds like a load of old cobblers. Jesus, I feel like I stumbled into a badly scripted film with the ****e spouted at the end. "We are....a bunch of pimply saddos who rarely go outside and do anything actually humanitarian and useful"

Because 99% of the videos "anonymous" release are just randomers making a video and attributing it to "anonymous".

If it's an anon video and it's not going viral on twitter, reddit, the chans, facebook, youtube, etc, almost instantly, it's just some randomer using a stock anonymous video and sticking his own audio over it.

    Most likely.

Fair enough, i was wondering at the low number of views alright.

You would hope that someone making videos and testing broadcasting speed would have a good idea on how to spread it quickly initially.

All Anonymous releases are effectively randomers using the Anonymous name, that's the point of Anonymous.

It's typically only when they begin to get attention do people begin to recognise it as an "official" Anonymous release but in reality they're either all official releases or none are.

Although this video does look like someone trying to make a bit of cash.

Is that not the video from the last episode of the IT crowd with a stupid voice-over?

As much of an abstract construct as anon is, it's actually got a little more structure than people realise (and perhaps more than it should), at least any of the major "ops" in the last few years have. Stuff happens in stages and is usually set in motion by a relatively small number of people and groups before hitting the chans and spreading from there. If these people or groups aren't involved, it goes nowhere. They are people who understand how to mobilise a lot of people very fast and how to use that mobilisation effectively.

These groups and people are, rightfully, extremely selective of the causes they get behind (or set in motion). The don't go for low hanging fruit like this nonsense. The invest their time in things like chanology, opsirael, attacking the australian governments censorship laws, etc. These are the "ops" that spread quick and get a lot of public attention (which is about all they can actually do in reality besides some DoS attacks and the like). A lot of them are also extremely paranoid now because so many of them have been getting partyvaned in the last 3 years.

I don't disagree that, for better or worse, Anonymous has become more structured over the last few years and that some people's opinions tend to carry more weight than they should however there is no committee that approves or certifies a release.

Even if it's only 1 person that makes a release and carries out an op that's an Anonymous release and an Anonymous op. That release might motivate others to get involved in the op but there's no set number that transform it from an unofficial to an official op.
