    Right lads,

I've been scouting about on here for a while for some info on a problem.
Have had a dish put up on the side of the garage with the intention of getting a dreambox (or whatever setup someone else might recommend) ;) .

The dish is wired into the house and has a signal upstairs in the attic but when I plug the skybox in...and old standard skybox it is....it just says error 29 no satellite signal being received. I've searched online for solutions ut to no avail thus far.

The dish hasn't moved at all for a start.

I have got a white freeview card from the UK by contacting setanta and have it in but nothing.

As far as I can see everything is connected up properly anyway.

Anyone any ideas what could be wrong even with this minimal information ?? :P

    Cheers

Presumably, whoever put up the dish, has it properly aligned on the right satellite position? (28 degrees east.)

aw peter would you believe I just tried it in the other room the dish is hooked up to and its working grand! Must not be connected into the conservatory which was just recently built. Need to go through the list now of channels available on freeview...I'm assuming stuff like Dave and all are available? There's bound to be a link somewhere for the list.
