    Hi

I would be really grateful for any advice or information. I am a fully qualified secondary teacher with teaching experience. I am looking for teaching work at the moment. What are the best teaching agencies to join in Ireland for Substitute work?

.Are they a any good agencies to join i.e. agencies on the net and has anyone had success with them?

I have found education careers, Asti substitute placement, and ERA educational recruitment agency and scoilnet so far. Are any of these site /agencies any good, has anyone found much work with the above

Someone told me about a text a teacher site where the principal can text the teacher in the morning for work, is this any good, anyone experience it.

Any information or advice would be really really appreciated

educationposts.ie is obviously a must go to site
also keep an eye on all vec/etb websites - sign up to those near you for their subbing panels
I used to head into the local library a couple of times a week to scout through all the papers (couldn't afford to buy them all on a daily basis lol)
and nothing beats doing the rounds personally with your cv - I know its a big outlay but well worth it and we are heading into flu season .... :-)

Local teacher centres compile lists of available teachers. Schools often contact them when in need. Think it cost me 20 to go on their list about 5 years ago
