What are the new tuning details for Saorview?
Tried rescanning in MediaPortal but I'm not getting anything but the old channels and some new unknown channels that have nothing on them
Current RTE/+1 say rescan needed in tv schedule

    Cheers

Below is the list of channels available on the 2 frequencies being transmitted from all transmitters now.

Use the Saorview coverage checker to find the transmitter and frequencies recommended for your location.

If an auto retune doesn't find them try a manual retune.

Many of the problems associated with this frequency change appear to be aerial and/or non-approved receiver related as we have seen from other posts. What type of aerial are you using, indoor/outdoor/attic?

I need the actual frequencies, this isn't like a set top box.
Though I think I have found them but need to adjust the aerial slightly, as the new unknown channels do have something on them but they are a bit scrambled.

This document lists the channel nos. for all Saorview transmitters. There is a frequency table in mHz at the bottom.

Still not sure what the frequencies are supposed to be.
At the mo they are on 738000
If I am reading that right they are anywhere between
    470 – 606 MHz
    or between
    470 – 860 MHz
    or between
    470 – 694 MHz

Is there no specific frequency table for Three Rock

It's in the main transmitters at the top of the list: channels 30 & 33.

738000 kHz is Kippure mux 1 on channel 54.

    Thanks a lot.

    hi,
I am also struggling with getting the new RTE One channel, I am not sure if it is a Mediaportal frequency issue or maybe because my aerial is in the attic... (also Wicklow Kippure)
Did you get it working and how?

I got them eventually, on the right frequency for 3 Rock (and not Kippure), and my aerial is in the attic (in a cottage)

Although you appear to have resolved your issue I made a related post here on the Mediaportal forum that may be of interest.
