Any way of getting RTE Player on Panasonic Smart TV

I recently bought an E6 series Panasonic smart TV and it doesn't have the rte player on it. Can this be sideloaded or is there any way around using the laptop hooked up? The flash player version on the browser is outdated and apparently can't be updated btw. Cheers.

You've got a couple of ways to get RTÉ Player on your Panasonic TV.
1/ Hook up a laptop to the TV via HDMI & get the player via your browser.
2/ If you've got a smartphone with HDMI output get the iPhone or android app for the phone & hook it up to the TV & away you go. Also works for 4oD (though an onscreen message sometimes appears saying that the app isn't compatible with large screen displays).
Watching Republic of Tellly atm, workin' fine but for the odd bit of buffering on a poor BB connection (1MB).
