Should women why cry rape, get the same sentence as a convicted rapist?

    No first of all let me clarify that when I say cry rape, I mean that they were not raped but rather said they were and it was proven without reasonable doubt.

    Now, I am looking at this from the males point of view. If a man didn't rape someone but was accused and convicted of it, his name would be put in the sexual offender registry and he would possible serve some jail time. But if it is found out that the woman is lying, she get no reprimanding at all.

    Do you think this is fair? How would you handle the situation?

    Nope I was. Read the thread, unless you're a white knight you can't help but feel uneasy at the attitudes on it.

    The falsely accused should get 5 free swings at the accuser with a metal baseball bat.

    There was a poll. An overwhelming majority agreed sentencing should be tougher, and not one person defended a woman making such a false allegation.

    Nothing to get outraged about.
