Hi I'm replacing a door lock and there seems to be two types 64mm and 76mm. Which should I choose I measured the existing width is around 7cm? Whats the difference in them ? would the 64mm one line up with 76mm door holes?

you need the 65 mm one or two and a half inch ...the other one is 3 inch ..used mainly where knobs are used ,as opposed to handles ,,,keeps your knuckles clear of door frame ..

Just unscrew and take out the deadbolt, bring it to a locksmiths shop and look to buy the exact same one but of course the keys will be different. If it's too old a lock they'll give you something similar they have in stock that should fit.
