    Excellent course, highly recommend it.
The Diploma is level 8, ie equivalent to an honours degree. Its 6 hours contact at DIT 3 hours per session, for 12 weeks approx per semester. But you are expected to do 14 hours per week at home, giving a total of 20 hours per weeks. This can easily become 40 hours during a project.

There is usually a project every 4 weeks in Semester 1 & 2. Group work between different AEC professionals is encourages in latter projects to simulate collaborative BIM on a real world project. Work is submitted in pdf format and group work web site.

Many on the course from Galway, Clare, Limerick, Meath, Wexford etc
