Ford Focus outside door handles

Outside door handles on both the driver and passenger side of car will not open doors both inside handles work fine. The passenger door may open every now and again. What can I do to sort this out? The key is central locking works fine and locks and unlocks all doors. The only other thing about the car is I was sitting in…

The key is central locking works fine and locks and unlocks all doors.
The only other thing about the car is I was sitting in it yesterday and it self locked. I thought I may have done it myself with key at first so I unlocked the car waited a few minutes sure enough it did it again. What could this be all about?

Oil both door handles.

The automatic living may be a feature, check your user manual.
